Music Disclaimer & DMCA
Your rights and responsibilities for audio you upload, alter, store, and share, plus how to report infringement.
Last updated: August 21, 2026
1. AAMPLIFIED Is a Tool, Not a Music Provider
AAMPLIFIED · AUDIO LAB provides audio processing software. We do not supply, license, sell, distribute, curate, or host a catalog of music. Every audio file in the Service arrives because a user chose to upload it. We have no involvement in selecting that material and no knowledge of its licensing status.
2. You Are Solely Responsible for the Audio You Upload and Alter
By uploading, processing, modifying, downloading, storing, sharing, or distributing any audio through AAMPLIFIED, you represent and warrant that you own that recording and composition, or that you hold every license, permission, clearance, and consent required from the copyright owners, publishers, songwriters, performers, labels, and any other rights holders, including the right to create a derivative or modified version of the work.
Processing a track through AAMPLIFIED creates a modified version of that work. Altering someone else's recording, including bass enhancement, EQ, loudness changes, tempo or pitch changes, and re-encoding, may create a derivative work that requires the rights holder's authorization. Owning a purchased copy, a streaming subscription, or a downloaded file does not by itself grant you the right to modify, publish, share, or distribute that recording.
You are responsible for all consequences of your uploads and alterations, including any claim, demand, dispute, statutory damages, or enforcement action brought by a rights holder.
3. No Ownership Claim by Us
We claim no ownership in your audio or in the masters you produce. You retain your rights, subject only to the limited operational license described in our Terms of Service, which exists solely so we can store, process, and display your files for you.
4. No Liability for User-Uploaded or User-Altered Audio
To the maximum extent permitted by law, AAMPLIFIED, Aamped Labs, Car Audio Amplified, and their owners, employees, and suppliers disclaim all liability arising from audio uploaded, processed, altered, stored, shared, or distributed by users, including any claim of copyright or trademark infringement, misappropriation, moral-rights violation, unauthorized derivative work, unauthorized sampling, or breach of a third party's license. We do not pre-screen user audio, we make no representation that any file may lawfully be used or modified, and we accept no responsibility for a user's failure to obtain rights.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold us harmless from any claim, damages, liability, or expense, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising from audio you uploaded or altered, as set out in Section 15 of the Terms of Service.
5. Storage Is Not a Guarantee
Files stored with us may be removed at any time due to enforcement action, storage limits, technical failure, or account closure. Always keep your own local copies of source files and finished masters. We are not liable for loss, corruption, or unavailability of stored audio.
6. Community Sharing
If you choose to share a processed track to the community feed or through a share link, you additionally represent that you have the right to publicly distribute that modified recording and you grant other users the ability to stream it within the Service. Shared tracks may be removed by us at any time, for any reason, without notice. Sharing content you do not have the right to distribute is a violation of these policies and may result in immediate account termination.
7. Playback, Equipment, and Hearing Warning
Processed audio can be substantially louder and carry far greater low-frequency energy than the original. Excessive volume can cause permanent hearing loss, and high bass output can damage subwoofers, speakers, amplifiers, wiring, and vehicle trim. You assume all risk for how you play back processed audio. Never operate playback at a level that impairs safe driving or violates local noise ordinances.
8. Copyright Complaints (DMCA Notice)
We respect intellectual property rights and respond to valid notices under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, 17 U.S.C. § 512. If you believe material on AAMPLIFIED infringes your copyright, send a written notice to our designated agent that includes all of the following:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
- Identification of the material you claim is infringing, with enough detail for us to locate it (URL, share link, community post, or username).
- Your name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement that you have a good faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf.
Designated DMCA agent: mike@aampedlabs.com (subject line: "DMCA Notice"). You may also use the form below, which captures every element listed above.
Upon receipt of a compliant notice, we will act expeditiously to remove or disable access to the material and will make a reasonable effort to notify the affected user. Notices that knowingly misrepresent infringement may create liability for damages under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f).
9. Counter-Notice
If your content was removed and you believe the removal was a mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to mike@aampedlabs.com including: your signature; identification of the removed material and where it appeared; a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification; and your name, address, and telephone number, along with consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your address (or, if outside the U.S., the District of Arizona) and acceptance of service of process from the complaining party.
If we receive a valid counter-notice, we may restore the material in 10 to 14 business days unless the complaining party notifies us that it has filed an action seeking a court order.
10. Repeat Infringer Policy
We track substantiated copyright notices per account. An account that is the subject of multiple substantiated notices will be suspended, and an account with three or more substantiated notices will be terminated, with its stored content deleted and future registration prohibited. We may terminate an account immediately in cases of egregious or willful infringement, regardless of the number of notices.
11. Submit a Takedown Request
Use the form below to submit a DMCA takedown notice directly to us. All fields marked with an asterisk are required. You will receive a response at the email address you provide, typically within 5 business days.
