How AAMPLIFIED · AUDIO LAB collects, uses, stores, and protects your information.
Last updated: September 24, 2026
1. Who We Are
AAMPLIFIED · AUDIO LAB ("AAMPLIFIED", "we", "us") is an online audio mastering platform operated by Aamped Labs, powered by Car Audio Amplified. This Privacy Policy explains what information we handle when you visit our website, create an account, upload audio, or use any part of the service (the "Service").
For any privacy question or request, contact us at mike@aampedlabs.com.
2. Information We Collect
Account information. When you register, we collect your email address and, if you sign in with Google, the basic profile information Google shares with us (name, email, profile image). We never receive your Google password.
Profile and community content. Display name, bio, described car audio setup, avatar, forum threads, replies, reactions, comments, and shared tracks you choose to publish.
Audio files. Audio you upload for processing, along with the processed output, file names, durations, file sizes, and the processing settings you apply.
Usage data. Boost counts, feature usage, referral activity, install status, and basic analytics events used to operate and improve the Service.
Payment data. If you subscribe to Pro, payment is processed by Stripe. We receive subscription status and identifiers from Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
Technical data. IP address, browser type, device type, and log data generated automatically when you use the Service.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To provide, operate, and maintain the Service, including processing your audio files.
- To create and secure your account and authenticate your sign-ins.
- To enforce usage limits such as monthly free boosts and referral bonuses.
- To operate the community features you choose to participate in.
- To process subscription payments and manage billing through Stripe.
- To send service-related messages. When you create an account, we may also email mastering tips, blog updates, and occasional store recommendations. You can unsubscribe from these emails through the link in each message; this does not affect your account or necessary service emails.
- To detect, investigate, and prevent abuse, fraud, and copyright infringement.
- To keep free masters fair. When you use a credit, we record one-way hashed (non-reversible) signals: a normalized form of your email address, a random device identifier stored in your browser, and your network address. We use these only to recognize repeated accounts and apply free-master limits. They are never sold or used for advertising.
- To comply with legal obligations and respond to lawful requests.
4. Your Audio Files
Audio you upload is stored so you can access, process, download, and manage it. We do not sell your audio, and we do not use your audio to train machine learning models. We access uploaded audio only as needed to operate the Service, resolve technical issues, respond to a copyright takedown notice, or comply with law.
Tracks stay private to your account unless you explicitly share them to the community or via a share link. You may delete your tracks at any time from your library. We encourage downloading finished masters locally for long-term reliability.
5. Cookies and Similar Technologies
We use cookies and browser storage that are necessary to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and measure basic usage. We do not use third-party advertising cookies to build cross-site profiles of you. Blocking essential cookies may prevent sign-in from working.
6. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only in these situations:
- Service providers. Hosting, storage, authentication, email delivery, analytics, and payment processing partners who process data on our behalf under contract.
- Public content. Anything you post publicly (profile, threads, replies, shared tracks) is visible to other users and visitors.
- Legal reasons. When required by law, subpoena, or to protect our rights, users, or the public.
- Copyright notices. Information in a takedown notice may be forwarded to the affected user, and information about an accused upload may be shared with the complaining rights holder.
- Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.
7. Affiliate Links
Some pages contain affiliate links, including Amazon Associates links. If you click an affiliate link, the destination site may set its own cookies and collect data under its own privacy policy. We may earn a commission on qualifying purchases at no extra cost to you.
8. Data Retention
We keep account information while your account is active. Tracks and playlists are kept until you delete them or your account is closed. Copyright takedown records are retained as long as necessary to administer our repeat-infringer policy and meet legal obligations. Backups may persist for a limited period after deletion.
9. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, port, or restrict processing of your personal information, and to object to certain processing. You can edit your profile in the app, delete your tracks at any time, or email mike@aampedlabs.com to request access to or deletion of your account data. We will respond within the time required by applicable law.
California residents may exercise rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know and the right to delete. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
10. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encrypted transport and access controls. No online service can be guaranteed perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password and keep it confidential.
11. Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us information, email us and we will delete it.
12. International Users
We operate from the United States. If you access the Service from elsewhere, you understand your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your country.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will revise the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, provide additional notice in the app. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Policy.
