Question 1

What is a rebassed song?

Accepted Answer

A rebassed song has its original low end replaced with a clean, powerful bassline that follows the song's own notes, tuned for car audio subwoofers. AAMPED Labs rebasses to the box tune you choose, from 10 to 50 Hz.

Question 2

What bass tune should I pick?

Accepted Answer

Pick the tuning frequency of your subwoofer enclosure. Most ported car audio boxes are tuned between 28 and 40 Hz. If you are not sure, use Auto and AAMPED Labs chooses a tune that fits the song.

Question 3

Can I master a song without rebassing it?

Accepted Answer

Yes. AAMPED Master is the default: it keeps your song's own 808 and gives you a louder, harder-hitting song built around your box tune, with clear vocals and no clipping. Choose Rebass + master when you want the notes moved onto your tune.

Question 4

Does AAMPED Labs add notes that are not in the song?

Accepted Answer

No. The new bass only plays the notes the song already has. Kicks and hits without a clear note keep their original punch.

Question 5

Is it free?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Every account gets 10 free masters each month. Pro gives you 50 masters a month plus advanced controls and tune previews.

Question 6

Can I use it on my phone?

Accepted Answer

Yes. AAMPED Labs runs in your phone or computer browser and can be installed like an app. Your masters are saved to your library with playlists and offline listening.
