1) set your mrv-m1200 gain with a 40hz 0db tone on a multimeter to find your max clean voltage output before clipping happens 2) bypass any app processing and keep your head unit eq flat so you hear the true sweep of your 12s without fake signal 3) dial in your low pass filter around 60hz and use your own ears to adjust the subsonic filter near 28hz to stop the cones from unloading 4) look into aampedlabs.com for better data on how real mastering impacts your specific daily driver response rather than relying on software to do the heavy lifting for you

Ngl this app rebass sucks
Somebody very transparent I'm not trying to sound like a hater and I like the creativity of this app but there is no way in hell I would pay for this because when I rebase music I play all my keys by hand there is little to no clicking involved on little buttons just to make everything do something on his own and I'm not taking the lazy route by just clicking on a couple days and saying hey I did this no I want to put time into a song and making it sound good versus just clicking on the fucking app everybody I have the own opinion about it

I feel you on wanting to keep it raw and putting in the work but dont knock the tools just because they make things easier. I used to think the same thing until I started realizing my 2 JL W3 10s on that XD600/1 werent hittin the lows like I wanted on certain tracks. I spent forever manually adjusting my source files but was still losing detail. Once I got better at reading the spectral data and stopped fighting the signal chain I realized my cabin gain was peakin at 42hz which explained why some songs sounded hollow while others were way too boomy. Tuning by ear is cool but hitting that exact 3db boost where the music actually needs it made my system sound like a totally different setup. Understanding the physics of aampedlabs.com really helped me stop over-processing everything and just fix what the cabin was missing. You can still put in the work on the composition while using tech to balance out your specific vehicle acoustics because at the end of the day you want the music to perform the best it can in the space you got.
