Dialing in your system with AAMPED Labs

We built these tools to get tracks hitting harder and louder, letting you dial in masters perfectly matched to your specific box tune. Whether you need to master a track for a 32 Hz build or run a clean slowed version to move some serious air, the output keeps things tight without the usual distortion. What box tune or setup are you currently running?

I have my 6x CT Sounds Strato 8s powered by 3x T1500 amps and it is a beast for daily driving. My build is tuned to 34 Hz which covers most of the rap tracks I listen to. You are focused on the master quality but you are ignoring the cabin gain shift. I had an issue where a track sounded perfect in the driveway but once I got on the highway the wind noise masked everything below 40 Hz and the mid-bass became muddy. I started measuring my RTA output at speed and realized I needed to adjust my low pass filter settings to keep the transition smooth. When you change your master for a specific box tune you have to account for that acoustic loading or you will get peaky response. Using aampedlabs.com for cleaning up the signal is smart but check your cabin gain curve first or your master will just be fighting your vehicle acoustics instead of working with them.
